One Year Until Pro Golf Returns To Bellerive
St. Louis Public Radio reports a club executive is on a fact-finding mission at this week's Senior PGA championship in Michigan.
One year from now, the eyes of the Senior PGA tour will be firmly focused on , which will host the 2013 Senior PGA Championship. The 2012 version of the event is being contested this weekend in Benton Harbor, Michigan. Club General Manager Jeffery Kreafle is there taking notes, and as he told St. Louis Public Radio, trying to take lots of notes.
Club officials said last year when the that they expected the course to essentially remain as-is for next year.
As of earlier this month, a spokesman for the state department of Economic Development told Patch that an economic impact study for the events had not yet been completed.
