Parkway Central Wins Slugfest Over U-City
The Colts get a career night at tailback and stay undefeated in 2011.
CHESTERFIELD – The jumped out to a 29-0 first half lead, and rode the wave of that big advantage to a 57-27 Homecoming night win over the University City Lions in a critical Suburban South Conference game Friday night at PCH Stadium.
Senior running back Alan Gasanli had the night of his life carrying the ball for the Colts.
The 5-foot-9, 160-pound speedster finished the night with 254 yards on 21 carries and five touchdowns, including scoring jaunts of 2, 8, 70, 29, and 30 yards, in Central’s fourth straight win to start the season.

University City quarterback DeAndre Williams also had a big night, rushing for 113 yards and a touchdown, and passing for 255 yards and three touchdowns in the Lions’ losing effort.
