Friday night at Parkway Central, conference rivals will take to the court for the third time this season, with the most on the line.

A CBC (20-7) club that is the athletic envy of any team in the state has at times struggled down the stretch when it has relied on shooting jumpshots.The Cadets broke out of that in the second half of Tuesday's district semifinal against Parkway Central to put away the Colts.

The Spartans had no trouble dominating Parkway West in their semifinal Tuesday, behind the other co-MCC Player of the Year Jimmy Barton and Butler signee Nolan Berry. Now, they're hoping to avenge last season's stunning district final defeat at the hands of Parkway North and to see if they can get another win against CBC.

Tipoff is at 7 p.m., following the Parkway North-Parkway Central girls district final.

"They're unbelievably talented, they've got so many weapons, they can score in a hurry, a lot of points in a short period of time, they're really really dangerous, there the one seed in this district for a reason," De Smet Jesuit Head Coach Kevin Poelker said of CBC.
