Week 3 Preview: Priory "Home" Opener Friday Against Westminster

The football game will be held at CBC while final touches are put on Priory's new athletic complex.

The Matchup: Westminster vs. at CBC High School

Date: Friday, Sept. 9

Team Records: Both teams are 1-1. Westminster defeated Wheaton Christian, 27-14, in its season-opening game at home, but was knocked back to reality in an 18-7 loss to Lutheran North last week.

Meanwhile, Priory lost 29-17 at Windsor in week one, but bounced back with a .

Game Breakdown: While the teams seem evenly-matched on both sides of the ball, Westminster’s Forrest Oberhaus has standout credentials on both sides of the line. Oberhaus has 245 rushing yards, three touchdowns and also 11 tackles and two sacks. He will present a challenge to Priory’s defense, along with his QB, Jonathan Roth.

Westminster’s offense will face Sam Friedman’s stopping power as he leads Priory’s defenders with 14 tackles. Thomas Rayback will spearhead Priory’s ground attack and has two TDs and 176 yards this season.

Next Friday, the Rebels will christen their new grandstand and stadium complex at Busch Field on the school's Creve Coeur campus.
