Watch 4th of July Celebrations Around St. Louis

Many St. Louis area communities offer firework shows for the 4th of July holiday, but fireworks are banned in Creve Coeur.

The Fourth of July holiday is only a few days away. 

It’s a great day to barbecue, swim, and celebrate America’s independence by watching fireworks in the evening and into the night.

But fireworks are illegal in Creve Coeur, the city’s police reminded residents in a recent news release. They are prohibited by a city ordinance.

Creve Coeur Police encourage residents to watch a fireworks display conducted by one of many trained professionals throughout the St. Louis area, according to the release. 

Though Creve Coeur won't have a fireworks show for the Fourth of July, there are many opportunities to watch the night light up on the holiday. Don't forget to check out tips for taking photos of fireworks, and safety tips for the holiday.
