Red Light Cameras And A Green Light For Prep Sports

We're taking a look at some of what will be making news this week in Creve Coeur.

Welcome to what is shaping up as a busy news week here in town. Among the stories we're following....

  • Creve Coeur's City Council meets Monday night and members are scheduled to vote on an ordinance that would extend the city's contract with a provider of so-called "red-light cameras" until the end of the year. The existing contract expires next month and city officials are still mulling a new contract.
  • Ladue's School Board also meets Monday, and is slated to discuss the district's MAP scores.
  • Parkway School Board members meet Wednesday night, talking about this year's plans for Project Parkway.
  •  The fall prep sports athletic schedule kicks in later this week, with De Smet Jesuit Soccer hosting Francis Howell Central Thursday night and a full slate of high school football set to kick off Friday. We'll wrap up our series of football previews this week in anticipation of Friday's action.
