8 Fun Things to do in St. Louis Oct. 4-6

Check out what's happening around St. Louis this weekend.

Sunday Funday: Head to historic St. Charles from 1 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 6 for live music and food samples from area restaurants. Wristbands for food samples are $5.

Ottertoberfest: The St. Louis Zoo hosts Ottertoberfest from 10 to 3 p.m. Oct. 5, 6, 12 and 13. Live German music at the Biergarten from noon to 3 p.m. each day and meet the otter keepers at 10 and 1:30 p.m. each day. Enjoy beer, bratwurst and other activities.

MO' Cowbell marathon: St. Charles is home to the Mo Cowbell marathon and half marathon races on Oct. 6. Head out to participate or as a spectator for the race that runs between downtown St. Charles and New Town.

Rock Hill Fall Festival: The annual fall festival will be at the Market at McKnight, from 11:30 am. to 6 p.m. Oct. 5. Nonstop entertainment is planned. The Taste of Rock Hill food event and Classic Car contest run all day.

Cottle Wobble: Head to Cottleville from 3 to 7 p.m. Oct. 5 for the annual wobble across businesses in Cottleville to sample beverages. A dance party follows in the street from 7 to 11 p.m.

Ambassadors of Lake Saint Louis Oktoberfest: This event will run Oct. 5 and 6 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the National Equestrian Center at Lake Saint lOuis Boulevard and Highway N. The event will feature food and craft vendors, carnival rides, kids play areas and more.

Pedal the Cause:  Bicyclists will take to the streets on Sunday in St. Louis for the annual Pedal the Cause race which benefits St. Louis Children's Hospital and Siteman Cancer Center.

Best of Missouri Market: Missouri Botanical Gardens hosts the annual Best of Missouri Market Oct. 4-6, which features food and craft items made by Missourians. Admission is $12 for adults.
