Follow The Bouncing Balls This Weekend
Here's a look at some of the fun activities available for people in and around Creve Coeur this weekend, or just a short drive away.
- Are you a chicken wing savant? You can help settle an age-old debate: which restaurant has the best wings in town, and help a good cause Thursday night at Queeny Park as the Greensfelder Arena hosts a "Wing Ding".
- The Creve Coeur Racquet Club is one of the locations for the The United States Tennis Association Missouri Valley Section Championships, playing out Friday through Sunday. You can watch aces and backhands beginning at 7:30 a.m. daily.
- If you're like this editor, you can't wait for the high school football season to officially start next week. On Friday, teams fan out across the area to see how they line up against other teams in exhibition jamboree play. Parkway North hosts De Smet Jesuit and others, while Parkway Central invites three other schools, with both sites getting underway at 7 p.m.
