Tappmeyer Homestead is a historic site in Creve Coeur. The Tappmeyer House was originally built by Frederick Wilheim and Adelia Tappmeyer between 1880 and 1884. In the years since, the homestead developed into a 33-acre farm that produced wheat, corn, alfalfa and clover hay as well as an apple orchard. Today, the city and members of the Tappmeyer Foundation work to preserve the site as a historical museum.
