The new 5th grade center, to open this August on the new West Ladue campus is on schedule for completion and all renovation costs are under budget according to Dr. Jason Buckner, Ladue's assistant superintendent for business and finance. He expects more detailed reporting at the June board meeting. All of the improvements to the center are paid for out of Prop "O" funds as promised to the tax payers. Dr. Buckner expects only $25,000 to $50,000 be left over after all the bills are paid. The district is yet to purchase some $200,000 of furniture for the school.
