2014 Trial Set in Lawsuit Claiming Child Was Decapitated During Delivery

Attorneys met with Circuit Court Judge Barbara Wallace concerning a motion to quash deposition of two doctors involved in the delivery.

A 2014 trial date was set in a couple’s lawsuit against a Creve Coeur OBGYN practice. The lawsuit claims the couple's child was decapitated during delivery on March 22, 2011. The couple, Arteisha Betts and Travis Ammonette, of Florissant, is suing Midwest Maternal & Fetal Medicine Services, LLC, Signature Medical Group Inc., both in Creve Coeur, as well as Dr. Gilbert Webb and Dr. Susan D. Baby Born Outside St. John's Mercy Hospital

Baby Born In St. John's Mercy Driveway Monday

Not the typical delivery at Creve Coeur hospital.

There was a special delivery this morning at St. John's Mercy Medical Center in Creve Coeur this morning, and it didn't happen in the hospital's Childbirth Center. The delivery literally arrived in the parking lot.  The Murray family was driving in from South St. Louis County on I-270, and this is the scene which ensued below. Creve Coeur Patch will have more details on how everything unfolded happened, but in the meantime, we can report that at 6 pounds, 9 ounces, Ondrea Nicole and her mother Tamara, are all doing fine.
