Bad Check for 2006 Lexus Lands Man in Jail
Creve Coeur Police said the man knew the check was written on a closed account.
A man was charged Wednesday with stealing a 2006 Lexus GX470 from Plaza Motors Lexus in Creve Coeur. Creve Coeur Police said Ronnie Higginbotham, 45, of Dixon, MO gave Plaza Motors Lexus a check for $28,432 to pay for the car May 14. However, the check was written on a closed account.
