Woman Put BBQ on Stolen Credit Card, Police Say
The owner had eaten at a restaurant where the defendant worked a week before, police said.
A restaurant employee is accused of using a stolen credit card after the card owner ate at her workplace. Sherry Jackson, 34, of the 4300 block of St. Ferdinand Avenue in St. Louis, was charged Jan. 31 with receiving stolen property and fraudulent use of a credit card. The victim discovered an unauthorized transaction on her credit card at Bandanas restaurant in Creve Coeur, 10923 Olive Blvd. She contacted the restaurant, and a Bandanas employee called police. Creve Coeur Police said an employee reported a Noodles & Company employee bought the meal. The Noodles & Company restaurant is next door to Bandanas.
