Remembering Dec. 7, 1941: Veteran Was Spurred to Enlist After Pearl Harbor

Nearing his 92nd birthday, Jerry Legow had a front row seat on World War II action.

Longtime Creve Coeur resident Jerry Legow not only remembers almost every detail of the European campaigns of World War II, he'll prove it with rapid-fire bursts of facts that fly as fast as 50-caliber machine gun bullets.  Soon to be 92 years old, Legow needs no encouragement.  He will often pose his own questions in one breath and quickly answer them in another.
