John Burroughs Holds Lead Over Parkway Central, Advances to Chaminade Tourney Final
A strong fourth period brought the Bombers from eight behind to a winning 5-point margin.
Parkway Central appeared to have John Burroughs under control through three quarters of a round-robin game in the Chaminade Christmas Tournament Thursday night, and then the tide turned. The Bombers outscored the Colts 18-6 in the final stanza, to win the privilege of playing host Chaminade, Friday night, beating the Colts 46-41. Central senior forward Zach Biggs had a team-high 16 points, none of which fell in the fourth period.
