Your Photo Could Make Creve Coeur Patch History!

Find out why we could use a little help as we make preparations for a new project later this month.

At Patch, we're doing a little summer construction. Our team has been busy working on a new-look platform that we think is going to be a big improvement for users. If you want a sneak-peek of what it looks like, check out our east coast colleagues at Mineola Patch or New Hyde Park Patch for a frame of reference. But here's where I need your help. The new-look site will need a photo that will run at the top of every page. What image screams Creve Coeur to you? Is it the Government Center? CityPlace? One of our parks? Give me some feedback, since I want the photos to be a reflection of what you think best represents the city. Better yet, we'd also like your photo suggestions. Koman Group Selling Part of CityPlace

The developer has retained a Chicago firm to market a Creve Coeur office building.

The company did not return a call seeking comment, but posted the Post's story to its own website. The main tenant in the building remains RockTenn, the Georgia concern which bought Smurfit-Stone. The Post-Dispatch reports the building is 91 percent occupied.

CityPlace: Cutting The Ribbon, Prepping For Potbelly & A Kick Out Of Fitness

Patch has an update on commercial retail activity at the Koman Group property in Creve Coeur.

CUTCO Cutlery may be the new kid on the block as far as commercial tenants at CityPlace are concerned, but it almost certainly won't be the last business in the Koman Group complex to celebrate a ribbon cutting. The retail outlet, one of only four stores nationally for the high-end kitchen products company, opened earlier this spring in the former Sound Room space and hosted a Creve Coeur-Olivette Chamber of Commerce ceremony Tuesday morning. In case you're wondering, dignitaries used the ceremonial giant scissors as opposed to the sharp objects for sale inside. Like Creve Coeur Patch on Facebook Nearby, a few doors down in the same complex, construction continues on the Potbelly Sandwich Shop in what was the former Provisions Market space…
