New Rules For Deerhunters In Creve Coeur This Year
Bow-hunting season starts September 15.
Saturday marks the first day of the first full season of deer hunting allowed in the City of Creve Coeur. In 2011, city council passed an ordinance allowing bow hunting after consulting with state conservation officials and getting feedback from residents, who were primarily concerned with the concentration of deer on the city's west side. New in 2012, Creve Coeur Police are issuing a photo ID card. The ID card only means that the hunter has a valid city permit to hunt and does not indicate that the hunter has undergone a criminal background check. Curt.....The permit process is done through the Creve Coeur Police Department. It is up to hunters to get the permission from landowners. Generally speaking, the deer population is more of a problem on the western side of the city.   more ›
