Michigan-based deep dish company will add a dozen sites to St. Louis over the next 2 years.
Watch out Domino's, Imo's, Pizza Hut and California Pizza Kitchen. A new player in the St. Louis pizza scene has Creve Coeur squarely in sight as it expands in the area. Jet's Pizza, which currently has one location in Ballwin, will expand into Webster Groves and Chesterfield, and then add two outlets in Creve Coeur. The Sterling Heights, Michigan-based chain is looking to put 5 stores into the community this calendar year, with 8-10 in the following year. Jet’s Pizza is looking at a location east of I-270 in the strip mall next to Pumpernickle’s Delicatessen at Olive Boulevard and Graeser Road, but Nick Miller, who manages the Ballwin location, said nothing is firm at that site as of yet. This location would be just carry out, and a …

You're the expert! You tell us about the experience.
When it comes to restaurants, Creve Coeur, Frontenac, Ladue and Olivette have it covered. We have some great local places that many would consider community gems. We have some restaurants that aren't exactly mom-and-pop, but are unique to the area, and we certainly—for better or for worse—have plenty of chains lining our main streets. But what we don't have is a consistent food critic to tell us what's good and what's not. That's where you come in. We could throw some money at a professional food critic, but that's not exactly what Patch is all about. We'd much rather know the opinion of the fine folks that eat there day-in and day-out. It's your community. You eat the food. You tell us if it passes the mark. Each week in Friday Food …

The spinoff of the Maplewood sports bar could open in June.
The owner of the Post Sports Bar and Grill in Maplewood gained Creve Coeur Planning and Zoning Commission approval Tuesday on a conditional use permit to occupy space at Creve Coeur's Farmers Bank Shopping Center across from CityPlace. The decision now moves to City Council for a pair of readings, including one Monday night. Owner Adrian Glass has previously cited his restaurant's interest in the former Growlers Pub space there, considering its access to Interstate 270 and Creve Coeur's potential lunch and happy hour crowd. The Planning and Zoning Commission also voted to change city code which currently limits restaurant space in retail and office space under two acres in certain zoned areas to 25 percent of the entire square footage …

Under a zoning rule being considered, restaurants could occupy more than 25 percent of available space in certain parts of the city.
The owner of Post Sports Bar and Grill in Maplewood will ask Planning and Zoning Commission Tuesday to amend city codes in a way that will allow him to bring a spinoff restaurant to Creve Coeur. Adrian Glass has filed a request for a Conditional Use Permit to open the eatery in the former Growlers Pub space, vacant for two years at the Farmers Bank shopping center across from CityPlace. Like Creve Coeur Patch on Facebook The decision to open in the Growlers space is contingent on the city lifting a requirement that only allows restaurant space in certain zoned areas under 2 acres to reach a total of 25 percent of the overall square footage. The proposed restaurant in this case would take up a total of 32 percent of the existing space on …

A conditional use permit will be in front of Creve Coeur's Planning and Zoning Commission January 22.
Since the Post Sports Bar & Grill opened in Maplewood in 2009, Owner Adrian Glass said "everything we've done was with the idea of growing" the business. The time to grow has apparently arrived, and the restaurant has found what it hopes is a home for The Post II Sports Bar & Grill in Creve Coeur. Glass has filed a request for a Conditional Use Permit to open the eatery in the former Growlers Pub space, vacant for two years at the Farmers Bank shopping center across from CityPlace. Like Creve Coeur Patch on Facebook Glass told Patch Wednesday he "couldn't have handpicked" a better location in the Interstate 270 loop area and cited the area's lunch crowd and happy hour crowd, along with the lack of a real sports bar in Creve Coeur, as …
