Bradley Beal's NBA Combine Workout Will Be Nationally Televised

The Chaminade graduate and likely top 10 draft pick will go through the paces at an NBA camp in Chicago Thursday and Friday.

The draft process for would-be pro athletes is really a glorified meat market. And, just as in the NFL, the process for evaluating who's who leading up to the NBA Draft is going to be televised. Starting Thursday and stretching into Friday, the top potential draftees, including former Chaminade standout Bradley Beal, will get to show how well they can navigate a series of agility drills. ESPNU will have the coverage, starting Thursday at 9 a.m. and continuing until Friday, also at 9 a.m. The network also plans interviews with the top prospects and league executives. Matchup against McCluer North will be televised Saturday on ESPNU

It's another challenge the Chaminade Red Devils will not only embrace but cherish as well. An impeccable record this season rightfully garners attention to one's program. Throw in the fact that the program just had a player (Bradley Beal) named to the McDonald's All-American game Thursday, that attention only intensifies. But when the Red Devils (22-0) take the court Saturday afternoon at 4 p.m. to face powerful McCluer North (21-3) at Lindenwood University, the entire country will have the opportunity to witness for themselves just how good the Red Devils are, as well as the talented Stars.
