Pattonville's McGhee Wows On Several Fields
Basketball standout also drawing raves in softball and soccer.
Pattonville High School's varsity three-year three-sport standout, Mikala McGhee, had more than an interesting sophomore year. She was a starting centerfielder for the softball team, a 5 foot 11 starting forward on the basketball team and the starting defensive midfielder on the soccer team. Add a 4.0 GPA, and it's clear she has a full schedule. But it doesn't stop there. McGhee had a film crew from MTV following her around for two months as she learned ballroom dancing. The experience resulted in her starring in a one-hour episode of the MTV MADE television series. This summer she played in showcase leagues in each of her three sports, spent extra time doing basketball drills and did a five city PR-community service tour to San Francisco…
