Formal Protest Filed Over Delmar Gardens Rezoning Request
The project remains on Monday's Creve Coeur City Council agenda.
There are new developments to report on in efforts by Delmar Gardens to have property near Interstate 270 on Ladue Road rezoned for a major assisted/independent living facility and single family housing project. The project, which was rejected by the Creve Coeur Planning and Zoning Commission last month, is scheduled to have that recommendation heard Monday at Creve Coeur's City Council. But according to council documents released Thursday night, residents near the proposed project have filed a protest which under state law would require the project to pass by a 2/3 majority of the city council as opposed to a simple majority.
