Annual event draws skaters from around the area.
Families from around the St. Louis area came to Creve Coeur's Ice Arena on Monday to celebrate a Holiday on Ice, sponsored by the city of Creve Coeur and St. John's Mercy Medical Center. Admission to the event, which is an annual tradition for the city and skaters alike, was free with the donation of a canned food item. Patrons enjoyed the time on the ice and snacks, including free hot chocolate and coffee courtesy of Creve Coeur Patch, with an assist from Provisions Gourment Market. By our count, we handed out more than 100 cups, along with pens, bags, balloons and magnets. Take a look at our slideshow as we add more photos, and if you were there, feel free to share your own pictures!
