Ladue Boys Hoops Poised To Join Area Elite This Season
Rams were 19-9 last season, but with junior point guard Cornell Johnston leading the way, many believe Ladue is headed for an even better season this year.
In a year when many thought it might have to take its lumps and suffer through a rough season, the Ladue High boys basketball team turned in a terrific campaign that saw the Rams go 19-9, and win the Suburban East Conference championship again. By the time the playoffs rolled around, Ladue, with its roster full of talented underclassmen, looked like it might be on the precipice of achieving something great. Unfortunately, another talented team of underclassmen at CBC High ended Ladue's playoff run early.
