Welcome to Last Chance, the column on Creve Coeur Patch designed to serve as a reminder for important deadlines coming up this week in town. You can post your own events and announcements on Patch. They could be featured in this item next week. Income Taxes are Due: The federal income tax filing deadline is Tuesday. The IRS extended the deadline due to the April 15 deadline falling on a Sunday and the Washington D.C. holiday on Monday. FOX 2 reports that Post Offices in St. Louis will not have extended hours except for the Main Post Office on Market Street.
Free event Friday requires registration by Tuesday.
Each week in this space, we tell you about some things you need to act on quickly or else you'll miss out. This week's Pick: The Creve Coeur-Olivette Chamber of Commerce's New Member Breakfast, which is scheduled for Friday at Parc Provence. The breakfast is open to all Chamber members (we'll be there too) and it is free! New members have a chance to introduce themselves. You must RSVP here by Tuesday. Beginning this week, we're going to share 'Last Chance', a look at an item or two that you need to act on quickly if you want to participate. Think about your child's little league registration deadline, or maybe we're talking about your church raffle. This week we're reminding you about a Wednesday reservation deadline for a Passover Seder event coming up next month, sponsored by Kitchen J and Community Aging Corporation.
