When Will They Tear Down The Old Reuther Building?
Plaza Motor Company is getting ready to start work to relocate a Jaguar and Land Rover dealership to the Olive Boulevard property in Creve Coeur.
Demolition crews could begin work to take down the former Reuther Automotive building on Olive Boulevard as soon as Monday, an executive with Plaza Motor Company told Patch Wednesday. Plaza Motors gained city approval last year to move the luxury car dealer's Jaguar and Land Rover lines to a new facility across from CityPlace. Jerry Patterson told Patch that asbestos was removed from the site three weeks ago and that Reuther will still need to handle environmental soil tests on the site. Construction on the facility could begin in 2-3 weeks, he said.
