Chris Duncan Returning To 'The Fast Lane' At 101 ESPN

The former St. Louis Cardinals outfielder has been recovering from October surgery on a brain tumor.

Chris Duncan has made frequent appearances back on the airwaves at WXOS 101 ESPN Radio following surgery in October on a brain tumor, but the former St. Louis Cardinal-turned broadcaster appears ready to resume his regular perch at the Creve Coeur based station. "REALLY looking forward to having @chrisduncan11 back in his chair for the @101ESPNFastLane tomorrow at 2:00. Welcome back, Dunc," was what Randy Karraker tweeted Sunday, about the drive-time show the pair have co-hosted with former St. Louis Ram D'Marco Farr. Duncan re-tweeted the message. Welcome Back Randy Karraker

Afternoon drive cohost for Creve Coeur based 101 ESPN returns after quadruple bypass less than a month ago.

When Randy Karraker was last in front of a radio microphone, few knew who Jeremy Lin was, and the Rams' new defensive coordinator was not yet in the public crosshairs of an NFL investigation into an alleged bounty program. Oh how times have changed. But Friday, Karraker returned to the airwaves of 101 ESPN, just a mere weeks after undergoing quadruple heart bypass surgery. The host of the afternoon drivetime program The Fast Lane, which broadcast live from Creve Coeur's Buffalo Wild Wings, had surgery February 14. Karraker had stents put in in late 2010 and felt pain in his chest in January. Tests after he returned from Super Bowl coverage revealed he had blockages of 60-70 percent in one artery and 70-80 percent in another. Karraker said …
