Friday Food Critic: Truffles Restaurant

Each week, we will nominate a new restaurant for you to review. That's right, you're the local expert.

When it comes to restaurants, Creve Coeur, Frontenac, Ladue and Olivette have it covered.  We have some great local places that many would consider community gems. We have some restaurants that aren't exactly mom-and-pop, but are unique to the area, and we certainly—for better or for worse—have plenty of chains lining our main streets. But what we don't have is a consistent food critic to tell us what's good and what's not. That's where you come in. We could throw some money at a professional food critic, but that's not exactly what Patch is all about. We'd much rather know the opinion of the fine folks that eat there day-in and day-out. The Week Ahead: Political Debate, Celebrating Soccer and Thanksgiving

A look at what we're following here on Creve Coeur Patch this week and where you can find it.

This is one of those weird weeks on the calendar. There is work to be done, but you're lying if you say you're not thinking at least a little bit about Thursday or Friday, or possibly both. Who could blame you, with, Thanksgiving providing opportunity to break bread with those important to you, and Friday with all those "Black Friday" deals and the Small Business Saturday opportunities following on the day after. If you're still looking at options for how to cook your turkey, look here and here for some suggestions.
