A 19-year-old man faces a criminal charge after St. Louis County Police said he sexually touched a woman while holding her down Monday in unincorporated St. Louis County in the area of Olive and Lindbergh boulevards. Kevin O’Shaughnessy, 19, of the 200 block of Spring Oaks Drive in Ballwin, was charged Wednesday with forcible sodomy - deviate sexual intercourse by forcible compulsion. St. Louis County Police said witnesses outside the room heard the victim yelling, “Stop,” but O’Shaughnessy’s friend stood outside the room’s door and prevented them from going to her aid. Fifteen students from Parkway North High School, Ladue Horton-Watkins High School, Whitfield School, De Smet Jesuit High School and Pattonville High School have signed up for the St. Louis Teen Talent Showcase Competition.
High school students from Creve Coeur will compete Saturday in the St. Louis Teen Talent Showcase Competition in a bid for thousands of dollars in scholarships. Fifteen students from Parkway North High School, Ladue Horton-Watkins High School, Whitfield School, De Smet Jesuit High School and Pattonville High School have signed up to be part of the 119 acts in the competition: The preliminary rounds on March 10 and 11 will narrow the field down to about 30 acts. The final 12 will perform at The Fabulous Fox Theater on April 27. The first, second and third place winners earn $7,000, $5,000 or $3,000 in scholarships, respectively.
