Sam Klein may be the leader in the clubhouse when it comes to the "What I did over summer vacation" story when class resumes in August at Parkway Northeast Middle School. How many 12 year olds can say they were featured on a network news broadcast? Klein's passion for recycling led to the formation of his own company, resulting in money for charities while at the same time saving space in area landfills. That was enough to get NBC Nightly News interested in the backstory. Here's a link to the report, from NBC's Kevin Tibbles.
