Parkway North Administrator Leaves For Rockwood Job

Dr. Karen Calcaterra is leaving Parkway North High School to accept a position at Lafayette High School in the Rockwood School District.

The following information was provided by the Rockwood School District:

Dr. Karen Calcaterra has been named as the associate principal of Lafayette High School for the 2013-2014 school year. For the past six years, she has served as an assistant principal at Parkway North High School. Prior to this, she served three years as an area coordinator for Special School District at Pattonville High School. She also served as a Special School District teacher for six years at Parkway North and at the Afton Lindbergh Early Childhood Center.   

Dr. Calcaterra earned a bachelor’s degree in Elementary and Special Education from Lindenwood University, and both a master’s degree in Educational Administration and a doctoral degree in Educational Leadership from Saint Louis University.
